Nike #HLWBB Players of the Week (January 2)

INDIANAPOLIS (January 2, 2023) – IUPUI’s Jazmyn Turner earned Nike® #HLWBB Player of the Week while Cleveland State’s Jordana Reisma picked up Nike® #HLWBB Freshman of the Week for the third time this season. Turner averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in a pair of wins for the Jaguars. Reisma posted 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in a 2-0 road week for the Vikings as they extended their win streak to 13 games.

Turner averaged 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in the Jaguars’ weekend #HLWBB sweep with wins over Northern Kentucky and Wright State. She was just shy of a double-double in the win over NKU with 19 points and nine rebounds and led IUPUI in scoring with 20 points with eight rebounds in the win against Wright State. The forward shot 76.2 percent (16-for-21) from the floor in the two games combined.

Reisma averaged 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in a pair of #HLWBB wins. She opened the week with four points and three rebounds in the win at Youngstown State then followed that with a season-high 14 points - on a perfect 5-for-5 effort from the floor - along with five rebounds in the win at RMU. The 14 points marked her first double-digit scoring game of the year.
