Horizon League Announces Fall 2022 Academic Honor Roll
INDIANAPOLIS – 1,274 student-athletes achieved academic honor roll distinction for the fall 2022 semester with all 11 member institutions and 19 Horizon League sponsored sports represented.
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify:
1) Participation in at least one of the League’s 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
2) Completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
3) A cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
Youngstown State leads the list with 167 student-athletes on the academic honor roll. Milwaukee (157), Oakland (140), IUPUI (121), Northern Kentucky (120), Cleveland State (105), and Purdue Fort Wayne (104) all reached triple digits of student-athletes being recognized. With 179 student-athletes on the honor roll, women’s soccer had the highest representation of the League’s sports. Women’s cross country/track & field and men’s cross country/track & field round out the top-three with 167 and 121 honorees, respectively.
