INDIANAPOLIS – The second half of #HLWBB play began on Thursday with Cleveland State, Northern Kentucky and Purdue Fort Wayne collecting road victories while Green Bay and Youngstown State earned wins at home.

Youngstown State 76, Wright State 60
  • Youngstown State moved to 9-2 in #HLWBB play and 15-5 overall with a 76-60 home victory over Wright State on Thursday.
  • The Penguins doubled up the Raiders on the glass, outrebounding WSU 40-20 with 13 offensive rebounds and totaled 21 assists on 27 field goals.
  • Lilly Ritz posted 23 points and 19 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season. Malia Magestro added 17 points for YSU while Paige Shy added 14 points and Dena Jarrells contributed 11 points.
  • Bryce Nixon led WSU with 16 points and Taylor Johnson-Matthews scored 11 points as the Raiders fell to 1-10 in League contests.
Purdue Fort Wayne 73, Oakland 64
  • Purdue Fort Wayne picked up #HLWBB victory number five on Thursday, earning a 73-64 road win at Oakland as the Golden Grizzlies dropped to 5-6.
  • The Mastodon defense held OAK to 39.7 shooting overall and 20 percent (5-25) from three-point range
  • Amellia Bromenschenkel scored a game-high 24 points and added nine rebounds for PFW while Shayla Sellers (16 points) and Audra Emmerson (11 points) scored in double figures for the ‘Dons as well.
  • Brooke Quarles-Daniels led the Golden Grizzlies with 18 points and Alexis Johnson added 16 points in the loss.
Northern Kentucky 62, RMU 47
  • Northern Kentucky improved to 7-4 in #HLWBB play and 13-7 overall with a 62-47 road triumph at RMU on Thursday.
  • The Norse held the Colonials to 16.7 percent shooting from beyond the arc (3-18) and 29.6 percent shooting overall.
  • Kailee Davis paced NKU in scoring with 19 points while Lindsey Duvall posted a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds.
  • Simone Morris scored 13 points for RMU as the Colonials fell to 2-9 in League action.
Cleveland State 107, Detroit Mercy 65
  • Cleveland State is 9-2 in #HLWBB action and 18-3 overall following a 107-65 victory at Detroit Mercy on Thursday.
  • The Vikings scored a season-high 107 points, shooting 61.3 percent from the field, including 53.8 percent from three-point range (7-13).
  • Five CSU players scored in double figures led by Destiny Leo, who posted a game-high 31 points on 10-13 shooting.
  • Amaya Burch led the Titans with 13 points as they fell to 1-10 in League play.
Green Bay 58, Milwaukee 40
  • Green Bay earned a 58-40 victory over Milwaukee at the Kress Center on Thursday to move to 9-2 in League play and 16-4 overall while the Panthers fell to 5-6 in #HLWBB contests.
  • The Phoenix outscored the Panthers 18-6 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
  • Bailey Butler led GB with 15 points and six assists while Jenna Guyer added 12 points and Callie Genke scored 10 points.
  • Emma Wittmershaus paced MKE with 10 points.
