INDIANAPOLIS – Saturday’s #HLMBB action saw Milwaukee earn an improbable comeback victory on the road to jump back into a tie for first place, while Wright State picked up its second-straight win to pull to .500 in Horizon League play.

- Milwaukee climbed back into a share of first place in the standings after completing a 23-point comeback on the road at Northern Kentucky to move both teams to 9-3 in HL play. The comeback marks the third largest in program history for the Panthers.
- NKU led 47-27 after the first half as the Norse shot over 51 percent from the floor and forced 10 turnovers. MKE stormed back in the second half by going on a 37-15 run to take the lead off an Ahmad Rand alley-oop dunk from BJ Freeman with 7:14 left in regulation. Milwaukee never trailed the rest of the game as Freeman made a layup to go up by five with under 30 seconds to play followed by Markeith Browning II securing the win on a blocked shot at the buzzer.
- Freeman led all scorers with 23 points for MKE on 17-of-17 shooting from the foul line and added nine assists. All 11 Milwaukee players that played finished with at least two points and one rebound.
- NKU’s Chris Brandon registered a double-double with 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Trey Robinson also finished with a team-high 18 points. Sam Vinson recorded 12 points and Marques Warrick ended the game with 11.
- Milwaukee finished the game shooting 27-of-32 from the free-throw line, while Northern Kentucky shot 12-of-15 from the charity stripe.
Wright State 77, Green Bay 46
- The Raiders completed the weekend sweep at home to improve to 6-6 in HL play and move into a tie for sixth in the standings.
- Trey Calvin scored a game-high 18 points for Wright State on 7-of-10 shooting, while AJ Braun fell just short of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
- Green Bay was led by Randy Tucker and Cade Meyer with 10 points apiece.
- WSU shot over 55 percent from the floor, including over 67 percent from inside the arc, while holding GB to under 30 percent shooting.
