INDIANAPOLIS – Purdue Fort Wayne earned a road win at DePaul while Cleveland State picked up a home victory over Ohio to highlight the #HLMBB action in the first week of the season.

#HLMBB DIG DEEPER

Purdue Fort Wayne is off to its first 3-0 start since 1999. The Mastodons opened the season with an 82-74 road win at DePaul. Quinton Morton-Robertson had a game-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting while Under Armour Player of the Week Rasheed Bello scored 15 points with six rebounds and three assists in his first game at the Division I level.
Cleveland State earned a home win over Ohio on Saturday. The win marked the first for the Vikings over the Bobcats since 1998, and just the third win all-time in the series. Tristan Enaruna recorded 22 points, six rebounds and a career-high six assists in the victory.
Trey Calvin scored a game-high 33 points for Wright State in its season opener at Colorado State on Friday. The #HLMBB Preseason Player of the Year tallied 20 of his 33 points in the first half and shot 57.1 percent from the floor.
IUPUI is off to its first 2-0 start since 2009 after a road victory at Valparaiso on Friday. Bryce Monroe led the way with 20 points and Vincent Brady II came off the bench to contribute 10 points. Senior John Egbuta also provided a major lift off the bench with eight points and a career-high 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Oakland’s Trey Townsend averaged 18 points and 9.5 rebounds in the opening week of the season against Ohio State and Illinois, posting his tenth career double-double against Illinois.
BJ Freeman posted a 30-point double-double, with 20 of those coming after intermission, in Milwaukee’s contest at Providence this weekend.
Markeese Hastings averaged 15.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and shot .474 (.545 from 3-point range) for the Colonials this week.
Senior Bryson Langdon led the Penguins with 15 points on 7-for-11 shooting at Michigan on Friday.
Noah Reynolds poured in 18.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game this week to lead Green Bay.
Sam Vinson and Keeyan Itejere paced the NKU offense at Washington with a team-best 14 points apiece. Vinson also led the Norse in rebounds (eight) and tied for second on the squad in assists (two) while Itejere had a game-high three blocks.
Senior Jayden Stone set a career-high with 25 points and added five rebounds in Detroit Mercy’s contest at Cincinnati on Friday.
