INDIANAPOLIS (November 28, 2023) – Oakland picked up a big win at Xavier on Monday to highlight this week’s action before #HLMBB play begins on Wednesday with ten teams in action followed by five more League games on Saturday.

#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
- Trey Townsend led Oakland to a win at Xavier on Monday, scoring 28 points with seven assists and six rebounds. Chris Conway and Jack Gohlke also scored in double figures for the Golden Grizzlies.
- Sam Vinson was named the NKU Thanksgiving Tournament MVP after leading the Norse to a perfect 2-0 week. Vinson scored 22 points in the Norse’s victory over Texas A&M – Corpus Christi on an 8-of-9 night from the field to go with four steals, three boards, two assists and a block then followed that up with 14 points in win over LIU, adding added six boards, five assists and three swipes.
- Tristan Enaruna was named MVP of the Viking Invitational after leading CSU to a 2-0 week in its home tournament, averaging 20 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He scored a career-high 28 points, including the game-winning bucket with four seconds remaining in a 72-70 win over East Tennessee State on Wednesday night.
- Detroit Mercy’s Jayden Stone had a great week for the Titans. He started with a career-high 34 points with six rebounds, four assists, and three steals against Eastern Michigan, connecting on a career-best 12-of-15 shots with four triples, before ending with 23 points, five boards, and three helpers at Southern Illinois Edwardsville.
- Seven Phoenix scored at least seven points in Green Bay’s win over St. Thomas on Saturday while GB posted another strong defensive performance, holding the Tommies to just 31.7 percent from the floor and 22.7 percent from beyond the arc.
- Trey Calvin led Wright State with 26 points in the Raiders’ victory over Illinois State on Wednesday, shooting 10-16 from the field, while Brandon Noel chipped in 19 points.
- RMU senior Josh Corbin averaged 22.0 points per game for the Colonials this week. He posted career-highs of 34 points (8-16 FG), seven 3-pointers (7-14) and 11-11 free throws in RMU's 97-86 win over FDU on Sunday.
- BJ Freeman (18 points) and Markeith Browning II (13 points) led the Panthers in Milwaukee’s win over Siena on Tuesday in Daytona Beach, Fla.
