Danielle Vuletich led the way with a game-high 18 points on an efficient 8-10 from the field. The RMU defense was aggressive all night, forcing the Nittany Lions to cough up 23 turnovers leading to 23 points off takeaways for the Colonials. Four Up, Four Down Milwaukee has found their groove going into the first leg of League play with four straight wins. The Panthers have been especially dominant in their last two games against Edgewood and Central Michigan, winning them by a combined 45 points and posting four double-digit scorers in each win. Vikings Protect the Mothership Cleveland State defended home court by winning the Holiday Inn Express Downtown Viking Invitational this past week. The Vikings got it done by scoring the ball with high efficiency, shooting 48% from the field as a team. Their 47% field goal percentage for the seasons currently leads the League. Titans Win Clash with Spartans Detroit Mercy pulled away from South Carolina Upstate for the 71-64 win on Friday. Latifa Amzil’s play proved to be a different maker as she scored all 16 of her points in the second quarter, going a perfect 6-6 from the floor and 3-3 from behind the arc. Green Bay Plays Spoiler…Again! The Phoenix earned their second win over an AP Top-25 ranked opponent by taking down previously undefeated No. 23 Washington State in a defensive showdown, 59-48, on Saturday in the Cancun Challenge. The last time Green Bay won two games versus AP Top-25 teams was during the 2017-18 season when they defeated #24 Arizona State and #23 Marquette. Oakland Hits Triple Digits for Second Time This Season The Golden Grizzlies score over 100 points once again in a 122-38 blowout versus Madonna University (Mich.) on Saturday. Seven players scored in double figures, led by Alexis Johnson’s 16 points and four three-pointers. Mastodons Rain In Threes in Win Over Hilltoppers Purdue Fort Wayne had a party from the three-point line with 17 made three-pointers in a 90-77 win over Western Kentucky on Sunday. Seven different Mastodons hit a triple in the game, with Audra Emmerson leading the way with five triples. The 17 threes tied the record for most three-pointers in the program’s D-I history. Putting the W in Wright State The Raiders continue to roll with four straight wins and a 3-0 record at the Nutter Center to start the season.
