INDIANAPOLIS (December 11, 2023) – – Wright State’s Alexis Hutchison and Northern Kentucky’s Carter McCray earned this week’s Under Armour #HLWBB weekly awards.

Alexis Hutchison helped propel the Wright State women’s basketball team to a 81-67 victory over Eastern Illinois Saturday afternoon, keeping the raiders undefeated at home at 5-0 heading into the new week.
- This is the first time Wright State has started 5-0 at home since the 2015-16 campaign.
Hutchison tallied a season-best 32 points in the Saturday win, just one point shy of her career high.
- Finished the afternoon 12-of-17 overall from the floor as she connected on six of her eight three-point attempts.

She added a pair of free throws, three steals, two rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes of action.
Her scoring output was just the fifth 30-plus point game in the Horizon League this season.

McCray continued her stellar start to her NKU career as she averaged 9.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in games against Power 5 Illinois and Kentucky State.
She grabbed 10 rebounds against Illinois and followed it up with a 17-point, eight rebound game against Kentucky State.
With the strong showing, she still leads the Horizon with an average of 9.1 rebounds per game and is tied for ninth in scoring at 12.8 points per contest.
- She is also ranked 49^th in all of NCAA DI basketball in rebounds per game.
