- Jalen Jackson led Purdue Fort Wayne to a 2-0 start in League play this week, averaging 18.0 points and 5.0 rebounds. The sophomore started the week with 19 points vs. Green Bay, including 13 in the second half, then followed up with 17 points in the victory at Oakland. The Mastodons lead the League with 88.4 points per game this season.
- NKU’s Keeyan Itejere paces #HLMBB with 2.3 blocked shots per game while teammate Sam Vinson leads the League with 2.3 steals per game.
- Brett Thompson led the Penguins to a 2-0 record last week with a pair of Horizon League victories over Cleveland State and RMU. The senior guard averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game last week while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor and 44.4 percent from 3-point range. Youngstown State leads #HLMBB with 39.8 rebounds per game this season.
- Tanner Holden led Wright State with 26 points in the #HLMBB opener against IUPUI while Brandon Noel contributed a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
- Oakland’s Jack Gohlke ranks first among #HLMBB players with 3.7 three point field goals per game and is shooting 32 percent from behind the arc.
- Noah Reynolds posted 17 points and eight assists to lead the Phoenix to a win over Milwaukee on Saturday night. Green Bay boasts the League’s top scoring defense, allowing just 64.5 points per game while Reynolds paces the League with 5.8 assists per game.
- Cleveland State’s Tristan Enaruna recorded his second double-double of the season in Saturday’s win over Detroit Mercy, finishing with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The senior forward also added seven assists against just two turnovers in the two games this week.
- Markeith Browing II posted 25 points for Milwaukee on Saturday in the team’s #HLMBB opener at Green Bay.
- RMU’s Markeese Hastings paces the League with 8.4 rebounds per game.
