INDIANAPOLIS (December 4, 2023) – Northern Kentucky’s Marques Warrick and Wright State’s Drey Carter earned this week’s Under Armour #HLMBB weekly awards.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK | MARQUES WARRICK | NORTHERN KENTUCKY | SENIOR | G | LEXINGTON, KY.
- Averaged 24.5 points on 18-of-28 shooting from the field (64.3 percent) and 5-of-8 (62.5 percent) from three-point range for the week
- Led the Norse to a perfect 2-0 start in Horizon League play
- Started the week with 25 points, four rebounds, three assists and a game-best three steals against RMU
- Followed it up with 24 points to go along with two assists and a steal at IUPUI
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK | DREY CARTER | WRIGHT STATE | G | BELLEFONTAINE, OHIO
- Averaged 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds for the week
- Posted a career-best 12 points and seven rebounds and added three assists, in Wright State’s Horizon League opening win against IUPUI on Wednesday
- Added five points and three rebounds in Saturday’s road contest at Davidson
- Shot 54.5 percent from the floor in the two contests
