INDIANAPOLIS – Week 9 of #HLMBB play tipped off on Wednesday with Oakland outlasting IUPUI at home to secure double-digit League wins for the third-straight season.

Oakland 85, IUPUI 81
- The Golden Grizzlies picked up their third win in four games to improve to 10-7 during HL play to take sole possession of fifth place in the standings.
- Jalen Moore and Trey Townsend led Oakland with 23 points apiece as Moore went 10-for-14 from the foul line and Townsend shot 8-for-11 from the floor. Rocket Watts finished with 14 points and Keaton Hervey added 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds.
- IUPUI’s DJ Jackson tied for a game-high with 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting and Jlynn Counter totaled 18 points and seven rebounds. Vincent Brady II hit four 3-pointers for 14 points and John Egbuta chipped in 10 points.
- Neither team led by more than six points the entire game, but Oakland was able to force 20 turnovers, its second-most during HL play this season, to hold a 22-11 advantage in points off turnovers.
