INDIANAPOLIS – The final week of the #HLWBB regular season tipped off on Tuesday with IUPUI earning a home win to clinch a first-round bye and hosting duties in the quarterfinals of next week’s Barbasol Horizon League Women’s Basketball Championship.

  • IUPUI improves to 12-7 in Horizon League play and will host a quarterfinal game for the second year in a row. Youngstown State falls to 12-7 heading into its regular season finale on Saturday.
  • The Jags shot 50.0 percent (25-50) from the field and went 29-for-34 from the foul line compared to YSU who shot just 13-for-19 from the free-throw line.
  • Five Jags finished in double figures led by Jazmyn Turner with 21 points, while Destiny Perkins and Natalie Andersen tallied 18 points apiece. Logan Lewis recorded 13 points and Ali Berg added 10.
  • The ‘Guins ended the game with a pair of 20-point performers with Dena Jarrells posting a game-high 25 points on 7-of-11 shooting with four 3-pointers and Lilly Ritz registered a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
