#HLBASE Co-Batter of the Week
Liam McFadden-Ackman | Northern Kentucky | Junior | Infielder | Mason, Ohio
McFadden-Ackman’s performance versus Western Michigan on February 26 was one for the record books. Not only did the junior crush two first inning grand slam home runs, but he capped off the already nearly impossible day by hitting for the cycle with a single in the bottom of the sixth inning. His stat line for this game ended up being 5-for-6 with two home runs (both grand slams), 10 RBI, four runs, one triple, and one double. He hit .571 through four games this past week (8-for-14), with a combined seven runs scored, four home runs, 13 RBI, slugging percentage of 1.643 and an on-base percentage of .571 as well. Northern Kentucky has been on fire to open the 2023 season with a 6-1 overall record. This is the best start to a season for the Norse in the NCAA Division I Era and the best overall start since 1990 when NKU opened up at 12-1 overall.
