INDIANAPOLIS – In Saturday’s #HLWBB action, Cleveland State earned a home victory to move to 12-2 in League play while IUPUI and RMU picked up road wins.

IUPUI 93, Wright State 80
  • IUPUI improved to 9-4 in League play and 13-9 overall with a 93-80 road win at Wright State on Saturday afternoon.
  • The Jags shot 50.8 percent overall and 14-28 (50 percent) from three-point range in the victory.
  • Destiny Perkins scored a game-high 26 points and Rachel Kent posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds while three other Jags scored in double figures.
  • Four Raiders scored in double figures led by 16 points off the bench from Lauren Scott.
RMU 71, Purdue Fort Wayne 63
  • RMU collected its third #HLWBB victory on Saturday as the Colonials defeated Purdue Fort Wayne, 71-63, on the road.
  • The Colonials opened the game on a 10-0 run, never trailing in the contest.
  • Phoenix Gedeon posted a game-high 23 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double in the win while Rebecca Dwomoh (14 points) and Simone Morris (13 points) also scored in double figures.
  • Shayla Sellers led the Mastodons with 11 points and 11 rebounds as they fell to 7-7 in League play.
Cleveland State 81, Youngstown State 48
  • Cleveland State moved to 12-2 in #HLWBB play and 21-3 overall with an 81-48 home win over Youngstown State on Saturday.
  • The Vikings outrebounded the Penguins, 55-32, with 21 offensive rebounds.
  • Amele Ngwafang recorded a 21-point and 15-rebound double-double for CSU while Destiny Leo scored 18 points, Brittni Moore added 14 points and Gabriella Smith chipped in 11 points.
  • Emily Saunders and Dena Jarrells led YSU with eight points each as the Penguins dropped to 10-4 in League contests.
