INDIANAPOLIS (August 28, 2023) – RMU’s Lidia Nduka and Northern Kentucky’s Mickayla Kowalski earned this week’s Under Armour #HLWSOC weekly awards.

- Helped RMU stay undefeated on the season with two wins this week
- Scored three goals in two games
- Scored two goals in under four minutes at Akron to help secure the Colonials’ victory
- Leads all #HLWSOC players with five goals this season
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | MICKAYLA KOWALSKI | NORTHERN KENTUCKY | SENIOR | GK | HARRISON, OHIO
- Posted two straight clean sheets this week against Miami (OH) and Louisville as the Norse went 1-0-1
- Set a career-best with seven saves to lead the Norse to a draw against Louisville on Sunday
- Posted nine saves overall in her two games played this week
- Currently tied for second in the Horizon League in both shutouts (2) and saves (18)
- On the national level, Kowalski is also ranked tied for 23rd in NCAA DI in shutouts and tied for 52nd in total saves overall
