INDIANAPOLIS (September 18, 2023) – IUPUI’s Grace Purichia and Milwaukee’s Ari Miller earned this week’s Under Armour #HLVB weekly awards.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK | GRACE PURICHIA | IUPUI | FRESHMAN | S | NEW ALBANY, IND.
- Led the team to back-to-back wins over Southern Indiana and Indiana State
- Totaled 45 assists, 15 digs, two service aces and four kills in the win over Southern Indiana
- Collected 41 assists, seven kills, 14 digs and three aces in the Jags’ win over Indiana State
- For the week, led the League in assists while ranking 7th in hitting percentage, 3rd in service aces and 8th in digs
PLAYER OF THE WEEK | ARI MILLER | MILWAUKE | SENIOR | MB | RICHFIELD, WIS.
- Helped Milwaukee to a 2-1 week with wins over DePaul and Air Force
- Collected 36 kills, three aces and 12 blocks for a team-best 46 points
- Hit .372 on the week including a .400 against DePaul and a .421 against RV Marquette
- Had a season-best six blocks against DePaul, while adding three each against Marquette and Air Force
