  • Green Bay Extends Winning Streak to Five
    • After closing out non-conference play with three straight wins, the Phoenix opened up the second leg of League play with two wins over Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne. #HLWBB Player of the Week Cassie Schiltz led the way for Green Bay, averaging 18.5 points and 6.0 assists on the week.
  • Potent Offense Leads to Two Straight for Wright State
    • The Raiders relied on high-powered offense to earn two League wins against Youngstown State and RMU. Alexis Hutchison logged her league-leading sixth 20-pt game against the Penguins. The following game, Layne Ferrell hit four of the team’s season-high 14 three-pointers against the Colonials.
  • Morris and O’Dell Power Colonials Past Jaguars
    • RMU took down IUPUI 60-46 on Friday behind a combined 30-point performance from Simone Morris and Micah O’Dell. Morris recorded a season-high 18 points on 7-14 shooting while the freshman O’Dell added in a career-high 12 points.
  • Golden Grizzlies’ Triplet Go Off in Friday Win
    • In Oakland’s 89-79 win over Northern Kentucky, three players made an indelible mark on the victory. Alexis Johnson scored a season-high 21 points, Markyia McCormick added 20 points, and Brooke Quarles-Daniels stuffed the stat sheet once again with a line of 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
  • Youngstown State Win New Year’s Eve Battle Against IUPUI
    • The Penguins defended home court in their last game of 2023 by pulling out a 58-56 win against the Jaguars on Sunday. Shay-Lee Kirby scored two clutch free throws in the closing seconds to give Youngstown State the lead and eventually the win. Emily Saunders led the ‘Guins with a game-high 19-points.  
  • Trawally Porta’s Career Game Continues Hot Start for Titans
    • Detroit Mercy opened the new year on Monday with a 67-55 win over Northern Kentucky. Emma Trawally Porta’s New Year’s resolution was to get more buckets, and she followed through with a career-high 23 points to go with 14 boards. With the win, the Titans continue their impressive season, starting 3-0 in League play for the first time since the 2016-17 season and 10-4 overall for the first time since the 1999-00 season.
  • Perdue, Reisma Have Efficient Afternoon in New Year’s Win
    • Mickayla Perdue and Jordana Reisma shot the ball at an effective clip and helped stave off a late Milwaukee comeback in a 64-59 win on Monday. Perdue had a game-high 24 points, Reisma poured in 15, and the duo combined to shoot 13-22 from the field.
