The Norse had their best defensive showing of the year, holding the Colonials to 31% from the field. On the offensive end, four players in the white and gold finished the night off in double figures. Macey Blevins led the way with 17 points, followed by Khamari Mitchell-Steen with 16, #HLWBB Freshman of the Week Carter McCray with 15, and Kailee Davis with 12. Vikings Run Off Two More Victories, Winners of Six Straight Cleveland State continued their tear with two more wins in the past week — a 72-61 win at Wright State and a 90-58 victory at home versus IUPUI. Since the start of 2024, the Vikings are averaging 74.5 points per game and allowing just 54 points per game to their opponents. Peppler and Lutz Goes Nuts For Milwaukee Anna Lutz had a nearly perfect game in the Panthers’ 67-51 win against Oakland on Thursday. She finished with 24 points on a ridiculous 11-of-12 shooting from the field. Kamy Peppler scored nine points, but coupled it with a program-record 14 assists. Hooper Sinks Late Bucket to Lift Detroit Mercy to Win Myonna Hooper was 1-for-7 from the field before she hit the game-winning jumper to give the Titans a 54-52 win over Milwaukee on Saturday. Hooper finished with seven points in the game, and teammates Imani McNeal (13), Emma Trawally Porta (12), and Paris Gilmore (12) all hit double figures in the victory. Quarles-Daniels’ Game-Winner Downs Green Bay Oakland ended Green Bay’s nine game winning streak with a buzzer-beating shot from Brooke Quarles-Daniels to win 83-81. Quarles-Daniels stuffed the stat sheet in the win, finishing with 27 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Kennedie Montue contributed 23 of her own points, her second game scoring 20+ this season. Hutchison and Loobie Propel High Scoring Affair For Wright State Alexis Hutchison and Rachel Loobie each scored 24 points in a 90-83 shootout with Northern Kentucky on Saturday. Hutchison recorded her League-leading eighth game with 20+ points and Loobie logged a career-high while shooting 10-of-11 from the field.
