#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
- Brandon Noel finished just shy of averaging a double-double last week as he led Wright State to a pair of wins, including taking down Purdue Fort Wayne, who had previously been unbeaten in HL play and at home overall. Noel opened the week with a 24-point, nine-rebound performance in front of a national audience in Thursday’s win over Cleveland State as he was 10-of-12 from the floor while adding two assists and two blocks to his final stat line. On Saturday, he turned in 13 points and eight rebounds on 5-of-6 shooting, adding three assists and a steal. For the week, Noel averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds while shooting 83.3 percent overall from the floor with a pair of three-pointers. Noel ranks first among #HLMBB players with 9.2 rebounds per League contest.
- Wright State leads the League in scoring offense (90.2 points per game), team field goal percentage (58.4) and three-point field goal percentage (43.0) during #HLMBB play. The Raiders also rank first in assists (19.6 per game).
- Youngstown State senior Brett Thompson paces the League with an assist-turnover ratio of 5.0 in #HLMBB games and leads YSU with 16.0 points per game in League play. The Penguins lead #HLMBB in the same category with a team assist-turnover ratio of 1.65 in League play.
- Gabe Dynes paces the Penguins and the League with 3.2 blocked shots per #HLMBB game while DJ Burns is first with a free throw percentage of 92.9 percent in League action.
- Under Armour #HLMBB Player of the Week Trey Townsend posted back-to-back 28-point performances for Oakland this week as the Golden Grizzlies picked up a pair of home wins over Milwaukee and Green Bay. Blake Lampman added 19.0 points per game for Oakland.
- Marques Warrick posted a huge week for Northern Kentucky, going for 29 points, three assists, three steals and a rebound in a victory over Youngstown State, including the game-winning three pointer with just 48 seconds left on the clock. Warrick then posted a season-high 30 points and forced overtime at the buzzer against Cleveland State. He paces the League in scoring with 25.0 points per #HLMBB game.
- Seven Colonials scored in double figures in RMU’s victory over IUPUI on Thursday. Josh Corbin led the team with 15 points while Markeese Hastings added 14 points.
- Tristan Enaruna averaged 16 points and 7.5 rebounds in two games for Cleveland State this week. He recorded his fifth double-double of the season on Sunday, tallying 24 points and 12 rebounds in the Vikings’ win over Northern Kentucky.
- Erik Pratt led Milwaukee with 20 points in Saturday’s win at Detroit Mercy while BJ Freeman posted a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double for the Panthers.
- Purdue Fort Wayne paces #HLMBB in steals (9.6) and turnover margin (6.8) in League contests.
