Milwaukee Earns No. 1 Seed as 2024 #HLWSOC Championship Bracket Set

INDIANAPOLIS (October 31, 2024) – Milwaukee earned the #HLWSOC regular season title and the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Horizon League championship as the regular season came to a close and the championship bracket was revealed on Thursday. The Panthers will host the semifinals and championship on Nov. 7 and 9 at Engelmann Stadium.

  • For the ninth time in the last ten seasons, Milwaukee clinched the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League Women’s Soccer Championship.
    • The Panthers concluded the 2024 regular season with a 9-0-1 League record and a 10-6-2 overall record, including a road win at Green Bay this week.
    • MKE will play its semifinal match against the lowest-remaining seed after the quarterfinal matches on Thursday, Nov. 7.

  • Detroit Mercy will host No. 6 seed Purdue Fort Wayne, who wrapped up the regular season with 12 points following a 3-0 win over IU Indy on Wednesday.
    • The Titans collected a 3-1 win over the Mastodons earlier this month.
  • RMU will host No. 5 seed IU Indianapolis as the Jaguars closed out League play with 14 points.
    • The Colonials and Jags played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 29 in Moon Township.
