INDIANAPOLIS (November 11, 2024) – Wright State’s Alex Huibregtse and Detroit Mercy’s Nate Johnson collected the first Under Armour #HLMBB awards of the season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK | ALEX HUIBREGTSE | WRIGHT STATE | REDSHIRT SENIOR | G | GRAFTON, WIS.
- Turned in a trio of double-digit scoring games to start the season
- Raiders opened 2-1 on the season
- Averaged 21.3 points to go along with his 64 percent overall shooting percentage and 53 percent mark from deep
- Ranked third in scoring and fourth in field goal percentage among #HLMBB players this week
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK | NATE JOHNSON | DETROIT MERCY | G | GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.
- Averaged 10.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists and shot 10-of-23 (43.5%) from the field in his first three collegiate games
- Detroit Mercy started the season 2-1
- Had nine points, seven rebounds and three assists in his collegiate debut, added 13 points at Loyola and nine points with seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in the win over Niagara
