#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
  • Detroit Mercy’s Mak Manciel scored in double figures in all three games, including a career-high 30 points and eight rebounds with three assists in the come-from-behind win over Niagara. The senior averaged 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds for the week.
  • #HLMBB Preseason Player of the Year Brandon Noel averaged 21.67 points and 11.0 rebounds for the Raiders in their 2-1 start to the season.
  • Nico Galette led the Penguins to an 80-60 victory over Chicago State on Saturday. He scored a game-high 20 points with nine rebounds and an assist and shot 61.5 percent (8-for-13) from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line.
  • Cleveland State freshman Je’Shawn Stevenson scored in double figures in two of three contests in the opening week of regular season play, averaging 11.67 points for the Vikings.
  • Jarvis Walked led IU Indianapolis with 16.5 points per game this week, including 20 points at Xavier on Friday.
  • Oakland head coach Greg Kampe collected his 700th career win in the team’s season opener against Defiance. Buru Naivalurua recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
  • Purdue Fort Wayne’s Eric Mulder shot 11-of-12 from the floor this week in two games, averaging 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds.
  • Kentrell Pullian paces Milwaukee and the League with 4.0 steals per game this season.
  • Through the first week of the season, Green Bay’s Anthony Roy leads #HLMBB with 25.5 points per game.
  • Ryan Prather Jr. averaged 12.7 points per game while shooting 61 percent from the floor (11-18) and 50 percent from 3-point range (8-12) in RMU's three games this week.
  • Josh Dilling paced Northern Kentucky with 12.5 points per game during the opening week of the season.
  • Horizon League play is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
  • The 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are scheduled to culminate at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis March 10-11 with the mantra #MarchStartsHere.
  • A total of eight Horizon League matchups will air on ESPN linear networks including five during the regular season. Additionally, Oakland’s non-League contest against Michigan State at Little Caesars Arena will also air on ESPN2.
