- Milwaukee’s AJ McKee, Purdue Fort Wayne’s Rasheed Bello and Wright State’s Brandon Noel were recently named to the Lou Henson ‘Early Season’ Watch List. The award is presented annually to the top player in mid-major college basketball.
- Milwaukee was 4-0 this week, starting with a road win at Duquesne followed by a 3-0 performance at the Cream City Challenge over the weekend. AJ McKee leads the Panthers with 16.0 points per game this season while Jamichael Stillwell paces MKE with 10.43 rebounds and Themus Fulks averages a League-best 5.14 assists per game.
- Alvaro Folgueiras recorded his fourth double-double of the season in RMU's victory at Cornell, scoring 19 points on 6-11 shooting with a game-high 12 rebounds plus three assists and four steals.
- Orlando Lovejoy tallied 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists as the Titans split a pair of road games, downing Ball State and falling at Wake Forest. In the road win, which ended a 22-game road slide, he tied his career high with 19 points to go with seven rebounds and five assists as he was 5-of-12 from the field and 9-of-10 at the line.
- Brandon Noel was named to the Myrtle Beach Invitational All-Tournament Team after turning in two 20-plus point performance and finishing with a 19.3 points per game average. Noel also added 6.0 rebounds per game for the Raiders.
- Green Bay’s Anthony Roy continues to lead the League with 28.29 points per game this season. Roy scored 34 points in the Phoenix victory over SIUE on Tuesday, adding six rebounds, five steals and four assists. At Ohio State on Monday, Roy led the Phoenix with 30 points on 10-16 shooting from the floor.
- Nico Galette posted a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double in Youngstown State’s victory over Monmouth this week. Galette leads the Penguins with 14.33 points and 6.33 rebounds per contest this season.
- Sam Vinson and Randall Pettus II scored 17 points each to lead Northern Kentucky to a win over Kentucky State this weekend. Vinson and Pettus currently pace the League in steals per game with 2.4 and 2.2 per game, respectively.
- Jalen Jackson scored a career-high 31 points for Purdue Fort Wayne at Penn State. Rasheed Bello had a game-high 20 points while adding eight assists, three rebounds and two steals for the Mastodons in Monday’s win over Drexel.
- DQ Cole tallied a double-double for Oakland against Eastern Michigan, scoring 12 points with 14 rebounds, adding three assists for the Golden Grizzlies.
- IU Indy’s Paul Zilinskas led the way in the win over Alabama A&M on Monday with 32 points on 11-20 shooting from the floor and 5-10 from beyond the arc.
- Horizon League play is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
- The 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are scheduled to culminate at the Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis March 10-11 with the mantra #MarchStartsHere.
