#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
- Alvaro Folgueiras averaged a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds in RMU’s two victories this week, shooting 61.9 percent from the field. He posted a career-best 27 points and 16 rebounds in the win over Saint Francis.
- Tevin Smith registered a career-high 37 points in Thursday’s game against Oakland, the most in a game by a Horizon League student-athlete this season.
- Trey Robinson led Northern Kentucky to a pair of wins this week, averaging 19.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent from the floor as the Norse extended its winning streak to five games.
- Youngstown State has won six contests in a row following road wins at Wright State and USC Upstate this week. Nico Galette led the Penguins with 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last week.
- Oakland continues the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic on Monday night with a battle against Oregon State on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET. The Golden Grizzlies took down Loyola Chicago on Sunday when Isaiah Jones beat the buzzer with a put back as time expired. Malcolm Christie and Allen Mukeba scored 20 points each for Oakland in the victory.
- Last week’s Under Armour #HLMBB Player of the Week Jamichael Stillwell collected multiple National Player of the Week honors for Milwaukee, including Lute Olson National Player of the Week and one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week. Stillwell ranks second in the NCAA with 11.9 rebounds per game.
- Purdue Fort Wayne’s Jalen Jackson led the Mastodons with 27 points at Michigan on Sunday.
- Orlando Lovejoy and Grant Gondrezick II scored 20 points each for Detroit Mercy at Wisconsin on Sunday.
- Jarvis Walker had 24 points and a season-high six assists in the Jaguars’ lone game of the week, at FIU on Saturday.
- Wright State’s Alex Huibregtse leads the League with a three-point field goal percentage of 45.2 percent with 3.0 three-point field goals made per game.
- Mac Wrecke paced Green Bay with 19 points at Drake on Saturday.
