INDIANAPOLIS (December 30, 2024) – Milwaukee and Youngstown State collected home wins to remain unbeaten in #HLMBB play while Cleveland State, Purdue Fort Wayne and RMU also picked up League victories this week.

#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
- Themus Fulks helped the Panthers move to 3-0 in Horizon League play for the first time since the 2011-12 campaign with an 88-81 victory over IU Indy, scoring a career-high 26 points to lead the way. He went 6-of-10 from the floor and an impressive 14-of-16 from the free throw line, adding five rebounds and five assists. The victory improved Milwaukee to 7-0 at home this season and wrapped up December at 5-0 for the first unbeaten month by the team since February of 2005.
- Youngstown State collected its seventh straight win on Sunday, tying the program's Division I consecutive win streak record. The Penguins are 4-0 in #HLMBB play for the first time in program history. EJ Farmer paced YSU with 16 points against Detroit Mercy.
- Purdue Fort Wayne’s Rasheed Bello dished out 12 assists on Sunday at Green Bay, recording the most assists in a #HLMBB game since Oakland’s Jalen Moore totaled 12 assists in 2022. Bello is averaging 6.3 assists per game in League play with an assist/turnover ratio of 2.5.
- RMU’s Amarion Dickerson helped the Colonials to a triple overtime win over NKU on Sunday, posting 27 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks and three steals in 46 minutes while shooting 55 percent from the field.
- Four Vikings scored in double figures in Sunday’s victory over Wright State. Chase Robinson led CSU with 16 points offensively while defensively the team held the Raiders to 21.7 percent shooting from three-point range.
- Five Norse posted double-figure scoring totals in the triple overtime contest at RMU on Sunday. LJ Wells led NKU with 19 points and added 13 rebounds for a double-double while Sam Vinson also contributed a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, adding seven assists.
- Malcolm Christie averaged 22.5 points per game in Oakland’s contests against Oregon State and Hawaii, shooting 32.4 percent from beyond the arc with 11 three-point field goals made.
- The Golden Grizzlies travel to take on Arkansas on Monday evening at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2 to close out their non-League slate.
- Sean Craig led the Jaguars at Milwaukee on Sunday, totaling 22 points, eight rebounds and four steals, shooting 66.7 percent from the floor.
- Orlando Lovejoy paced the Titans at Youngstown State on Sunday, totaling 23 points in 35 minutes.
- Brandon Noel (20 points) and Jack Doumbia (19 points) led Wright State’s offense at Cleveland State on Sunday.
- Preston Ruedinger led Green Bay with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists on Sunday against the Mastodons while Ryan Wade added 11 points.
- The 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are scheduled to culminate at the Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis March 10-11 with the mantra #MarchStartsHere.
