#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
  • Youngstown State started 2-0 in #HLMBB play, allowing a League-best 54.0 points per game defensively. Opponents shot just 34.5 percent overall against the Penguins this week and only 13.2 percent from three-point range. YSU also posted a League-high 7.0 blocks per game in the two victories.
  • In Milwaukee’s #HLMBB opener, Kentrell Pullian paced the Panthers with 24 points, adding 10 rebounds and shooting 55.6 percent from the floor while Themus Fulks added 16 points and five assists in the victory.
  • Trey Robinson led NKU to a win at IU Indianapolis on Saturday, scoring 19 points on 7-10 shooting with six rebounds and four assists. Josh Dilling added 17 points off the bench for the Norse.
  • Jalen Jackson stuffed the stat sheet for the Mastodons this week, posting 20 points per game on 12-of-15 shooting with 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per contest.
  • IU Indy’s Jarvis Walker averaged 24.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game for the week while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor with a season-high 25 points in the win over Green Bay.
  • Jack Doumbia averaged just shy of a double-double for the Raiders this week with 15.5 points and 9.5 rebounds, highlighted by his 21 points and 13 rebounds, both new career highs, in Saturday afternoon’s win at Detroit Mercy.
  • Cleveland State senior Tevin Smith Averaged 16.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in helping the Vikings to a 1-1 record in the opening road trip of League play, shooting 59 percent from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.
  • Detroit Mercy’s Legend Geeter posted a career-high 22 points, including the game-winning three, in the victory over Purdue Fort Wayne on Thursday, adding nine rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 36 minutes of action, going a career-best 9-of-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from three.
  • Allen Mukeba paced Oakland in the victory over Wright State Thursday, scoring 16 points on 7-14 shooting with seven rebounds and four assists.
  • The 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are scheduled to culminate at the Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis March 10-11 with the mantra #MarchStartsHere.
