The Vikings kept the ball moving, racking up 16 assists on 25 made field goals. Four players hit double figures: Colbi Maples with 16 points, Mickayla Perdue with 15, Sara Guerreiro with 13, and Jordana Reisma with 12. Youngstown Offense Hums in High-Scoring Affair with Oakland The Penguins were anything but cold in their 85-79 victory on Thursday. All of Youngstown’s starters scored at least 10 points, and the ‘Guins shot 50% or better in all four quarters of play. Shay-Lee Kirby led the way 24 points and five 3-pointers, followed by Dena Jarrells with 19 points. Malia Magestro poured in 18 points and both Haley Thierry and Emily Saunders added 10 points. McNeal Leads Phoenix to 2-0 Week #HLWBB Player of the Week Natalie McNeal had herself a week as she helped Green Bay pick up wins at home against Northern Kentucky and IUPUI. On Thursday, McNeal had a 12-point, 16-rebound double-double against the Norse. She followed that up with another double-double, this time scoring 26 points and bringing down 15 rebounds versus the Jaguars. Peppler and Donaldson Shoot Lights Out Versus IUPUI Nine different Milwaukee players saw a shot go through the hoop in their 73-54 win against IUPUI on Thursday. Jada Donaldson and Kamy Peppler put on a clinic from deep, scoring 12 and 11 points, respectively, and shooting 7-8 from three-point range. Grace Crowley led the team in scoring with 13 points and Anna Lutz finished with 11 to round out the double-digit scorers. Late Heroics from Skorupski Seal Oakland Win Maddy Skorupski got a buzzer-beating layup to go at the end of overtime, giving Oakland a 67-65 win versus RMU on Saturday. Skorupski was one of four Golden Grizzlies in double figures, ending with 10 points. Markyia McCormick scored a team-high 13, Brooke Quarles-Daniels finished with 12, and Kennedie Montue added in 10. Norse Complete Comeback Over Panthers Down as much as 11 points with under four minutes to play, Northern Kentucky stormed back to win 67-66 against Milwaukee on Saturday. Hot shooting from three played a big role, as the Norse hit 10-of-18 3-pointers in the game — four coming in the fourth quarter.
