- DJ Burns led the Penguins to a pair of road wins in Wisconsin this weekend as he averaged 14 points and 12 rebounds per game and shot 50 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line. Burns scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting against the Panthers and grabbed 10 rebounds for his 19th double-double of the season. He posted his 20th double-double of the year and the 12th straight with 12 points and 14 boards against the Phoenix.
- Brandon Noel turned in a pair of dominant games this week, including a 19-point, 16-rebound double-double in Wright State’s big win over Oakland as the Raiders won a pair of road games. Noel opened the week just missing a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds at Detroit Mercy while shooting 67 percent in the win before the double-double effort on Sunday at Oakland. He finished the week shooting 58 percent overall with a trio of three-pointers and was a perfect 10-of-10 at the free throw stripe with the 25 total rebounds. Noel averaged 20.5 points, 12.5 rebounds in the two wins and added four blocks, two assists and a steal to his final stat line for the week.
- Marques Warrick had a standout week as he led the Norse to a perfect 2-0 record. He started the week with 27 points, a career-best seven rebounds, a season-high five assists and one steal against Cleveland State and followed it up with 17 points and three helpers in a victory over IUPUI. The senior averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds over the two-game slate.
- BJ Freeman averaged 30.0 points in two games this week, as Milwaukee picked up a big win over Purdue Fort Wayne after dropping a tight battle in overtime to Youngstown State. Freeman added per-game averages of 4.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks. He shot 50 percent (21-of-42) from the floor, 38.1 percent (8-of-21) from deep, and 90.9 percent (10-of-11) from the line. He posted 22 points and 8 rebounds against YSU and then followed that up with a season-high 38 points against the Mastodons, going 15-of-24 from the floor while also scoring the 1,000th point of his Milwaukee career. The 38 points tied for the ninth-most in a game in program history.
- Trey Townsend recorded back-to-back double-doubles, his sixth and seventh of the season, as Oakland clinched at least a share of the Horizon League regular season title this week. Townsend averaged 18.0 points and 15.5 rebounds across the two games.
- Anthony Roberts scored 31 points in Purdue Fort Wayne’s victory at Green Bay on Friday.
- Tristan Enaruna posted a 24-point, 12-rebound double-double in Cleveland State’s win at RMU on Sunday afternoon.
- Elijah Jones and Marcus Hall led Green Bay with 12 points each in Sunday’s contest against Youngstown State while Will Eames paced the Phoenix with 19 on Friday against the Mastodons.
- Freshman Alvaro Folgueiras finished the week with 9.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks for the Colonials.
