- Phoenix Cruise in Back-to-Back Victories
- Green Bay went 2-0 at the Kress Center after convincing wins against Oakland and Detroit Mercy this weekend. Against the Golden Grizzlies on Thursday, Maddy Schreiber led the Phoenix with a 15 point-10 rebound double-double. Bailey Butler had herself a double-double as well, recording 10 assists and 10 rebounds. On Sunday, Natalie Andersen dropped 18 points in the 87-44 win over the Titans. Schreiber and Natalie McNeal also reached double digits in the game with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
- Cera, Nead Lead Milwaukee to Win Over Detroit Mercy
- Panthers’ Angie Cera and Kendall Nead combined for 35 points in a 61-55 win against the Titans on Thursday. Cera reached double digits for the 14th time this season, going 5-10 from the field and 2-4 from three in the game. Nead also reached the career 1,000-point mark, becoming the 23rd Panther to do so in program history.
- Jarrells and Kirby Leads Penguins Comeback Win
- #HLWBB Player of the Week Dena Jarrells and Shay-Lee Kirby combined for 20 of Youngstown State’s 25 points in the fourth quarter to lead Youngstown State to a come-from-behind victory against Northern Kentucky on Saturday. Down as much as 18 points, the Penguins outscored the Norse 44-32 in the second half to earn their 13th win of the season. Emily Saunders did work on the glass as well, contributing a career-high 16 rebounds.
- Bromenschenkel Hits 1,000-Point Career Mark in Win Over Jaguars
- Amellia Bromenschenkel’s 17 points led Purdue Fort Wayne past IUPUI 68-55 on Saturday. The senior Mastodon also became the 22nd player in program history to score 1,000 points in their career, joining teammate Shayla Sellers on the esteemed list.
- Golden Grizzlies Use Second Half Surge in Saturday Win
- After a tight first half, Oakland pulled away from Milwaukee in the final 20 minutes on the way to a 66-58 win on Saturday. The Golden Grizzlies outscored the Panthers 33-23 in the second half behind 19 points from Brooke Quarles-Daniels and 18 from Alexis Johnson.
