FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The New England Revolution of the MLS (Major League Soccer) announced earlier today the signing of Hesron Barry to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract. Barry joins the Revolution - owned by Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft - after recently completing his senior season with the Phoenix, helping Green Bay to its first Horizon League Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 14 years. He is the eighth player in program history to reach the professional ranks and the first since Ian Smith who was a Phoenix from 2016-2019.
Hesron completed his tenure in Titletown as a two-time Horizon League Defender of the Year while earning Horizon League All-League First Team, United Soccer Coaches Association All-Region, and Academic All-Horizon League honors.
