#HLWBB DIG DEEPER
  • Jaguars Hold Out For Win Over Penguins
    • IUPUI came out on top in close 69-63 win against Youngstown State on Wednesday. The Jags won the rebound battle by a wide margin, grabbing 44 boards to the ‘Guins 33. Katie Davidson poured in a game-high 20 points, followed by 15 points from Jazmyn Turner, and 10 points from Abby Wolterman.
  • Norse Run Off Consecutive Home Wins
    • Northern Kentucky picked up back-to-back wins on the road against Detroit Mercy and Oakland this past week. The Norse averaged 81.5 points and shot 47% from the field in the two wins. Khamari Mitchell-Steen put up 29 points against the Titans on Wednesday, and Macey Blevins followed it up with a 30-ball against the Golden Grizzlies on Friday.
  • Three Panthers Hit Double Digits in Victory Over Colonials
    • Milwaukee won a dogfight against RMU on Wednesday, taking home a 61-43 win. Kamy Peppler, Angie Cera, and Kendall Nead all scored in double figures, shouldering 62% of the team’s total points. The Panthers defense stepped up as well, holding the Colonials to 27% from the field — the lowest of a Milwaukee opponent this season.
  • Wright State Picks Up Back-to-Back Victories
    • The Raiders continue to play their best ball at the Nutter Center, improving their home record to 8-3 with two wins over Oakland and Detroit Mercy. Alexis Hutchison put up 44 points over the two-game span, scoring 21 versus the Golden Grizzlies on Wednesday and 23 against the Titans on Friday.
  • Penguins Share the Rock in Win Over Panthers
    • Four Youngstown State players hit double figures in an efficient afternoon — logged shooting splits of 47/47/93 on the day — for the ‘Guins, pulling out a 73-66 win on Saturday. Malia Magestro led the way with 23 points, followed by 13 points from Haley Thierry. Shay-Lee Kirby added in 12 points and Emily Saunders recorded her third double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Only W’s in the Wolstein Center
    • Cleveland State finished a Saturday afternoon battle with Green Bay unscathed, keeping their undefeated record at home intact with an impressive 86-63 win. The Vikings improved to 12-0 in the Wolstein Center, thanks in large part to a 30-point performance from #HLWBB Player of the Week Mickayla Perdue, who went 7-of-8 from three. The Vikings as a team had their best 3-point shooting performance of the season, going 15-of-23 from deep.
