The Jags won the rebound battle by a wide margin, grabbing 44 boards to the ‘Guins 33. Katie Davidson poured in a game-high 20 points, followed by 15 points from Jazmyn Turner, and 10 points from Abby Wolterman. Norse Run Off Consecutive Home Wins Northern Kentucky picked up back-to-back wins on the road against Detroit Mercy and Oakland this past week. The Norse averaged 81.5 points and shot 47% from the field in the two wins. Khamari Mitchell-Steen put up 29 points against the Titans on Wednesday, and Macey Blevins followed it up with a 30-ball against the Golden Grizzlies on Friday. Three Panthers Hit Double Digits in Victory Over Colonials Milwaukee won a dogfight against RMU on Wednesday, taking home a 61-43 win. Kamy Peppler, Angie Cera, and Kendall Nead all scored in double figures, shouldering 62% of the team’s total points. The Panthers defense stepped up as well, holding the Colonials to 27% from the field — the lowest of a Milwaukee opponent this season. Wright State Picks Up Back-to-Back Victories The Raiders continue to play their best ball at the Nutter Center, improving their home record to 8-3 with two wins over Oakland and Detroit Mercy. Alexis Hutchison put up 44 points over the two-game span, scoring 21 versus the Golden Grizzlies on Wednesday and 23 against the Titans on Friday. Penguins Share the Rock in Win Over Panthers Four Youngstown State players hit double figures in an efficient afternoon — logged shooting splits of 47/47/93 on the day — for the ‘Guins, pulling out a 73-66 win on Saturday. Malia Magestro led the way with 23 points, followed by 13 points from Haley Thierry. Shay-Lee Kirby added in 12 points and Emily Saunders recorded her third double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Only W’s in the Wolstein Center Cleveland State finished a Saturday afternoon battle with Green Bay unscathed, keeping their undefeated record at home intact with an impressive 86-63 win. The Vikings improved to 12-0 in the Wolstein Center, thanks in large part to a 30-point performance from #HLWBB Player of the Week Mickayla Perdue, who went 7-of-8 from three.
