INDIANAPOLIS (March 14, 2024) – Purdue Fort Wayne’s Burke Pitz and Oakland’s Bridget Boczar earned this week’s Under Armour #HLGOLF weekly awards.
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK | BURKE PITZ | PURDUE FORT WAYNE | GRADUATE STUDENT | DES MOINES, IOWA
- Won the Sacred Heart Invitational with a 141 (-3) for the first win of his career
- Was the best in the field by two strokes
- Led Purdue Fort Wayne to a team win
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK | BRIDGET BOCZAR | OAKLAND | SOPHOMORE | CANTON, MICH.
- Placed third in a field of 80 golfers at the Huntsville Invitational
- Shot 220 (+4) for the event, including rounds of 70 and 71
- Oakland placed third in the 16-team event
