INDIANAPOLIS (March 19, 2024) – Wright State’s Jay Luikart and Northern Kentucky’s Clay Brock earned this week’s Under Armour #HLBASE awards.
BATTER OF THE WEEK | JAY LUIKART | WRIGHT STATE | SENIOR | UT | ASHLAND, OHIO
- Hit .611 with 11 hits in 18 at bats over four games
- Added three doubles and two home runs with 12 RBIs and five runs
- Held a .500 batting average against Milwaukee, recording two doubles and a home run, with seven RBIs and three runs
- Put up a 1.111 slugging percentage over the week

- Posted a Saturday win over Oakland as he threw five shutout innings
- He allowed just six hits and added five strikeouts
- The Norse swept Oakland in the opening #HLBASE series of the season
