INDIANAPOLIS (April 16, 2024) – Wright State’s Sammy Sass and Milwaukee’s Luke Hansel earned this week’s Under Armour #HLBASE awards.
BATTER OF THE WEEK | SAMMY SASS | WRIGHT STATE | SENIOR | C | UPPER ARLINGTON, OHIO
- Hit .611 with 11 hits in 18 at bats over four games
- Added three doubles and five home runs for 14 RBIs
- Hit four home runs against Miami (OH) in the Joe Nuxhall Classic
- Held a .538 batting average against Northern Kentucky, tallying eight RBIs
- Put up a 1.611 slugging percentage over the week

- Earned a win in the #HLBASE series opener at Youngstown State.
- Pitched seven innings and allowed just one run (1.29 ERA)
