#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
  • Under Armour #HLMBB Player of the Week Jalen Jackson was recently named the recipient of the Mid-Season Lou Henson Award, presented by collegeInsider.com. The award is presented annually to the top player in mid-major college basketball. Jackson leads the League in scoring with 19.7 points per game and steals with 2.0 per game while shooting 51.5 percent with 3.2 assists per game.
  • Kam Woods led RMU to a pair of road wins this week, averaging 17.5 points, 7.0 assists, shooting 53.8 percent from 3-point range with a 2.33 assist to turnover ratio. Woods scored 20 points at Green Bay before scoring 15 points with a game-high eight assists and scoring his 1,000th career point at Milwaukee on Sunday.
  • Allen Mukeba paced the Golden Grizzlies on the week with 16.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game with 4.0 assists, 3.0 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. The forward shot 85.7 percent from the field in the pair of victories.
  • Tahj Staveskie averaged 14.5 points per game in helping lead Cleveland State to a 2-0 week and its ninth and tenth consecutive victories. The redshirt sophomore tallied 20 points in Wednesday’s win over Northern Kentucky.
  • Jamichael Stillwell posted 18.0 points and 8.5 rebounds for Milwaukee this week as he ranks fourth nationally with 11.5 rebounds per game and is tied for third in double-doubles with 12.
  • Cris Carroll had a big week for the Penguins as he averaged 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game last week. Carroll connected on 52 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from 3-point range and posted a career-high 24 points in the Penguins' win over Green Bay.
  • Jack Doumbia averaged a double-double this week for Wright State. He recorded a 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game average, including grabbing 13 rebounds to go along with 23 points for his fourth double-double of the season against Purdue Fort Wayne.
  • Under Armour #HLMBB Freshman of the Week Ryan Kalambay posted a career-high 13 points and 11 rebounds for his first career double-double against #MetroSeries-rival Oakland on Saturday.
  • Sean Craig led IU Indy in two games this week, posting 12.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game for the Jaguars.
  • Trey Robinson paced NKU with 16.5 points and 2.0 steals this week.
  • Green Bay’s Marcus Hall leads the League with 34.8 minutes played per game and paces the Phoenix with 13.1 points per game.
  • The Cleveland State-Purdue Fort Wayne men’s basketball game scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 30 has been selected to be televised on ESPNU. Game time is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and marks the first regular season ESPN linear broadcast of the season.
  • The 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships are scheduled to culminate at the Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis March 10-11 with the mantra #MarchStartsHere following on-campus action on March 4 and 6.
