- Perdue, Reisma Lead Vikings to Back-to-Back Road Wins
- Cleveland State completed a successful road trip this week, winning games at RMU and IU Indy. Mickayla Perdue dropped a season-high 32 points with five three-pointers and four steals in the victory against the Colonials on Wednesday. In the following win against the Jags, Jordana Reisma recorded her third double-double of the season with 21 points and 12 rebounds.
- Three ‘Guins Score Double Digits in Wednesday Win
- Jewel Watkins led the way for Youngstown State with a game-high 21 points in a win over Northern Kentucky on Wednesday. Malia Magestro and #HLWBB Freshman of the Week Sophia Gregory both contributed 15 points as well.
- Jags Win in Efficient Offensive Showing
- Katie Davidson and Shania Nichols-Vannett combined for 34 points on an efficient 14-of-19 from the field in IU Indy’s win against Wright State on Wednesday. As a team, the Jags shot 48% from the field, 47% from three and 79% from the free throw line.
- Golden Grizzlies Come Up Clutch in Overtime Win
- With a second left in regulation, Maddy Skorupski drained a step-back three-pointer to force overtime and eventually win on the road versus Milwaukee on Thursday. Macy Smith recorded her fourth game with at least 20 points and four three-pointers, while Skorupski finished with 14 points and Dani Grim added 12.
- Phoenix Rise to Eight Straight Wins
- Green Bay extended their win streak in dominant fashion, winning by an average margin of 26.5 points against Detroit Mercy and Oakland last week. The Phoenix defense also came to play, holding both opponents to combined 35% from the field and 26% from three.
- Givon, RMU Holds Off Youngstown State
- A 20-point night for Noa Givon lifted the Colonials over the Penguins in their Saturday clash. Givon shot 8-of-13 from the field and also added five rebounds to her performance. Jada Lee joined Givon in double-figures with 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting.
- Purdue Fort Wayne Remains Unbeaten in League Play
- #HLWBB Player of the Week Lauren Ross filled up the box score with 23 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals in the Mastodon’s win versus the Norse on Saturday. Three other players score 10+ point: Sydney Freeman (14), Jazzlyn Linbo (12) and Amellia Bromenschenkel (11).
- Titans Win on Last-Second Shot from Burton
- Detroit Mercy escapes a close contest in Milwaukee on Saturday with a great heads up play from Aaliyah McQueen. Tied at 52 with four seconds remaining, McQueen anticipates a pass, steals the ball and races down the court, passing it off to Katie Burton on the fast break who beats the buzzer to secure the two-point win.
