#HLWBB DIG DEEPER
  • Kendall Barnes led Milwaukee to a 75-65 win at Northern Illinois, shooting 7-of-8 from the field to begin her collegiate career. Barnes lead all Horizon League freshman with an .875 field goal percentage, ranking second among all players regardless of class. Jorey Buwalda contributed nine rebounds while adding 11 points.
  • Aislin Malcolm totaled 46 points in two games to help RMU collect victories – one on the road at UIC, the other at home vs. Akron. Against UIC, three Colonials scored in double figures in the victory led by a career-high 26 points from Malcolm and 13 points from both Noa Givon and Bailey Kuhns.
  • In Oakland’s season-opening win over Cleary, Cali Denson paced the Golden Grizzlies with 21 points, going 4-for-6 from the three while Makenzie Luehring and Sereniti Roberts-Adams clipped in 11 points each and Filippa Goula added 12 points and eight rebounds. Layla Gold led OAK led with 21 points and 12 rebounds in Monday’s win over Miami (OH).
  • Aaliyah McQueen posted a double-double with 15 points and a Titan career-best 16 rebounds in Detroit Mercy’s win over Valparaiso while Jasmine Edwards collected 19 points and seven rebounds, Makayla Jackson contributed 16 points, and Maya Anderson added 10 points.
    • This game marked Head Coach Kiefer Haffey’s first Horizon League win.
  • Three Penguins scored in double figures at North Dakota on Friday. Sarah Baker led all scorers with 16 points, going 7-for-11 from the field and 2-2 for the free-throw line. Casey Santoro collected 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists, making two three’s and going 7-for-8 from the free-throw line.
  • Breezie Williams led the Raiders with a career-high 27 points at Tennessee State, shooting 55% from the floor and 60% from beyond the three-point line. Williams also recorded five rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
  • Colbi Maples opened the year with 29 points on a .529 clip against Chicago State. She added five rebounds, four assists and one steal on the week for the Vikings.
  • Hailey Smith leads IU Indy with 14.67 points and 7.0 rebounds per game through three games this season.
  • Green Bay’s Maddy Skorupski led the Phoenix with 15 points and six rebounds at Loyola Chicago while teammate Ellie Buzzelle followed close behind with 12 points and seven rebounds.
