Wright State Earns 2025 #HLVB Title

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY. (November 23, 2025) – No. 2 seed Wright State earned a 3-0 sweep in Sunday’s #HLVB championship to collect its fourth League title.

- Wright State hit .313 in the match with seven aces and nine blocks.
- Championship MVP Mya Ayro led the Raiders with 14 kills, adding three blocks while hitting .650 with just one error.
- Lauren Yacobucci dished out 33 assists for WSU.
- Ella Gaona totaled 20 digs for the Raiders.
- WSU’s Katie Sowko added 10 kills and Taylor Bransfield chipped in eight kills and seven blocks.
- Lucia Heid paced NKU with 13 kills and Abby Pickard added 32 assists for the Norse.
- WSU enters the NCAA Tournament with 21-10 overall record.
