#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
  • CollegeInsider.com has announced the ‘Early Season Watch List’ for the 2025-26 Lou Henson award, which is presented annually to the top player in mid-major college basketball. Oakland’s Brody Robinson, Purdue Fort Wayne’s Corey Hadnot II and RMU’s DeSean Goode represent #HLMBB on the watch list.
    • Robinson leads Oakland with 16.0 points per game and a League-best 6.2 assists per game.
    • Hadnot ranks first among #HLMBB players with 20.9 points per game while shooting 57.2 percent from the floor.
    • Goode is averaging 14.4 points and a League-high 9.1 rebounds per game for the Colonials.
  • Under Armour #HLMBB Player of the Week Corey Hadnot II finished with a game-high 29 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists at Notre Dame. He was 10-for-16 from the floor, 4-for-7 from 3-point range and 5-for-6 from the charity stripe. All of his free throws came in the final 30 seconds of the game to seal it. Mikale Stevenson added 18 points, DeAndre Craig scored 14 points and Maximum Nelson chipped in 11 points.
  • Milwaukee’s Josh Dixon was named the Lou Henson award National Player of the Week.
  • Dixon led Milwaukee with 24 points against South Dakota State while Amar Augillard added 23 points and Danilo Jovanovich scored 17 points. Against Cleveland State, Dixon scored a game-high 28 points while Jovanovich added 18 points and Chandler Jackson contributed 14 points.
  • DeSean Goode averaged a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds in RMU’s two wins this week. The sophomore totaled 16 points and 12 rebounds in the overtime win over YSU then posted 24 points and 8 rebounds at Saint Francis.  Ryan Prather Jr. averaged 18.5 points per game this week for the Colonials.
  • Marcus Hall led Green Bay to a 1-0 week with a win over UC Santa Barbara, scoring a season-high 25 points on 9-of-11 shooting along with five rebounds.
  • Michael Hogue led Oakland with 18 points at Northern Kentucky before scoring 13 points against Michigan State. Tuburu Naivalurua paced the Golden Grizzlies with 18 points against Michigan State. Isaac Garrett posted a double-double at NKU with 15 points and 11 rebouinds.
  • Cris Carroll averaged 29 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game for the Penguins this week while shooting 64.3 percent (10-for-28) from the field, 64.3 percent (9-for-14) from 3-point range and 86.7 percent from the free throw line. He scored a career-high 31 points against RMU.
  • Five Raiders scored in double figures in the win over Eastern Michigan on Monday night. Freshman Michael Cooper led Wright State with 18 points, adding six rebounds.
  • Kael Robinson posted back-to-back 22-point games for Northern Kentucky this week. Against Oakland, Robinson added seven rebounds and two steals before collecting nine rebounds vs. College of Charleston on Sunday.
  • TJ Nadeau led Detroit Mercy with 20 points against Siena Heights on Saturday, shooting 85.7 percent from the field.
  • Cleveland State’s Chevalier Emery averaged 23.5 points per game this week, scoring 25 points at UAB and 22 points vs. Milwaukee.
  • Kyler D'Augustino scored 24 points for IU Indy at Grand Canyon on Monday, adding five rebounds and two steals to his stat line.
