INDIANAPOLIS (December 30, 2025) – Oakland, Youngstown State, IU Indy and Northern Kentucky collected wins to resume #HLWBB League play and highlight this weeks Notebook.

#HLWBB DIG DEEPER
- Jada Leonard led the Vikings contributing 12 points while shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line and adding four steals. Izabella Zingaro added 14 points and seven rebounds, while shooting 75% from the line.
- Alana Nelson scored 21 points, knocking down five three-pointers and surpassing the 2,500-career point milestone during the Mastodon’s battle with Northern Kentucky. Teammate Lili Krasovec added 19 points and nine rebounds, while Destiny Macharia collected 12 points with four threes.
- Oakland opened the week with a road win at RMU, led by Makenzie Luehring who finished with 17 points and eight assists. Bailey Kuhns added 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Colonials, while Myrian Traore pulled down 11 rebounds in the effort.
- Danielle Cameron and Casey Santoro each finished with 18 points in the Penguins road win at Cleveland State. Santoro added five assists, while Erica King collected six rebounds and seven assists.
- Milwaukee fell to IU Indy despite a strong performance from Jorey Buwalda, who recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds. Grace Lomen added seven rebounds, while the panthers controlled the glass with multiple double-digit rebound performances.
- Detroit Mercy was led by Makayla Jackson, who finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, and four steals, while Myonna Hooper contributed eight assists and Jasmine Edwards added 15 rebounds for the Titans.
- Northern Kentucky picked up an overtime win at Purdue Fort Wayne, led by Karina Bystry who scored 25 points, hit four three-pointers, and added seven rebounds. Maddie Moody chipped in seven rebounds and two blocks, while teammate Mya Meredith added 18 points on 75% shooting.
- IU Indy earned a road victory at Milwaukee led by Oliva Smith with 19 points. Hailey Smith added 13 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, while Kamara Mills chipped in two three-pointers.
