INDIANAPOLIS (December 9, 2025) – League play opened up this week with Detroit Mercy and Youngstown State posting 2-0 records while Milwaukee and Oakland were 1-0 in #HLMBB action with the Golden Grizzlies also collecting a home win over Toledo.

#HLMBB DIG DEEPER
- Detroit Mercy is 2-0 in #HLMBB play for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Sophomore TJ Nadeau tallied a career-high 26 points and senior Orlando Lovejoy added 17 points in the win at Cleveland State on Sunday. In the League opener against IU Indy, Ayden Carter led the way with a season-high 21 points and also had six rebounds, four assists, and three steals and London Maiden had a career-high 18 points and nine boards while freshman Lance Stone netted 11 points and handed out three assists.
- Cris Carroll led the Penguins to a 2-0 record in League action and averaged 18.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and shot 52.2 percent from the field. The senior paced the Penguins with 19 points and seven rebounds in the win over Wright State then posted 17 points and tallied six rebounds against IU Indy in the road victory.
- Seth Hubbard’s tip-in with 0.2 seconds remaining secured Milwaukee’s win over RMU to open League play for the Panthers. Hubbard finished with 21 points and five rebounds while Aaron Franklin added 12 points off the bench.
- Two-time Under Armour #HLMBB Player of the Week Brody Robinson posted 27 points and eight assists in the League opener against the Mastodons while four other Golden Grizzlies scored in double figures. On Saturday against Toledo, Robinson scored 19 points with nine assists while Ziare Wells led the Golden Grizzlies in scoring with 21 points on 9-14 shooting.
- Corey Hadnot II averaged 29.0 points, 4.0 steals, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in two games for Purdue Fort Wayne this week. The junior led the League in scoring and steals this week with 33 points at Oakland and 29 points vs. NKU while shooting 60.6 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range.
- LJ Wells averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 2.0 assists per game this week for Northern Kentucky. On Wednesday, he set new career highs in points (21) and blocks (4) with 10 rebounds in win vs. Cleveland State.
- RMU’s DeSean Goode averaged 22.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 72.7 percent from the field, 100 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the line this week. The sophomore posted a career-high 26 points at Milwaukee on Saturday.
- Michael Imariagbe turned in a pair of double-digit scoring games this week, including tallying a perfect 7-of-7 shooting night in Wright State’s win over Green Bay on Sunday. The graduate student finished the week averaging 14.5 points per game on 71.4 percent overall shooting for the Raiders.
- Jaidon Lipscomb led Cleveland State with 19.0 points per game this week, including 23 points at NKU on Wednesday.
- C.J. O’Hara paced Green Bay with 16.5 points per game this week while Justin Allen added 16.0 points per game for the Phoenix.
- Kyler D'Augustino scored 19 points for the Jaguars on Saturday against YSU, shooting 11-12 from the free throw line.
