INDIANAPOLIS (February 11, 2025) – Milwaukee’s Jaelyn Reeves-Lile, Northern Kentucky’s Cameron Bitterman, Oakland’s Alex Mansfield, and Youngstown State’s Melana Schumaker all earned this week’s #HLTF weekly awards.
MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK | JAELYN REEVES-LILE | MILWAUKEE | SOPHOMORE | INDIANAPOLIS
- Placed second in the 60m dash at the Mark Guthrie Legacy Invite
- His school-record 6.72 time in the finals ranks first in the Horizon League
WOMEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK | CAMERON BITTERMAN | NORTHERN KENTUCKY | JUNIOR | CLEVES, OHIO
- Placed second in the 400m at the Gem City Invitational
- Her 56.49 time ranks second all-time in program history and first in the Horizon League this season
- She was also part of the first-place 4x400m relay squad that placed first with a 3:52.82 time that ranks second in the League
MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK | ALEX MANSFIELD | OAKLAND | JUNIOR | MONROE, MICH.
- Placed fourth in the weight throw at the GVSU Lints Alumni Open
- His throw of 16.68m ranks third in the Horizon League
- He also finished seventh in the shot put with a distance of 16.69m, which ranks second in the League
WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK | MELANA SCHUMAKER | YOUNGSTOWN STATE | JUNIOR | McDONALD, PA.
- Placed second in the pole vault at the Michigan Invitational
- Her height of 3.82m ranks fourth in the Horizon League
