#HLWBB DIG DEEPER
- Davidson Dominates for Jags
- Katie Davidson led the way for IU Indy in an 80-68 victory over Wright State on Wednesday. She scored a game-high 28 points, shooting an efficient 11-of-17 from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc. Neveah Foster and Alexa Hocevar added double-digit scoring as well, dropping 17 points and 15 points, respectively.
- Vikings Earn Back-Back Wins at Home
- Cleveland State welcomed Detroit Mercy and Oakland to the Wolstein Center last week, winning both contest by an average of 19 points. Jordana Reisma scored a team-high 21 points with eight rebounds and two blocks against the Titans. Versus the Golden Grizzlies, Destiny Leo dropped 20 points with five three-pointers.
- Late Push Propels RMU Past Milwaukee
- The Colonials stole a game on the road from the Panthers, winning 58-52 on Thursday night. RMU finished the fourth quarter on a 19-5 run, holding Milwaukee to 2-of-15 from the field and 0-of-8 from three-point range. Isys Grady finished with a team-high 17 points, while Mya Murray and Jada Lee both added 10 points each.
- Phoenix Continue to Fly High
- Green Bay continued their winning ways this week, defeating Youngstown State and RMU. The Phoenix overcame shooting woes against the Penguins, producing a 16-5 second quarter that gave them enough cushion for the remainder of the game. Green Bay was hitting on all cylinders in the win over the Colonials, finishing with team shooting splits of 51/44/100.
- Mastodons Stomping Through League Play
- Purdue Fort Wayne upped their win streak to 17 games with victories against Oakland and Wright State last week. Now the third-longest win streak in the nation, the Mastodons made their presence felt on defense in both outings. PFW averaged 13 turnovers across the two games and defended the three-point line well by only allowing a 16.7% clip.
- Idowu For the Win!
- Five players scored 10+ points in a high-scoring affair for Northern Kentucky, squeaking past IU Indy 82-79. #HLWBB Player of the Week Halle Idowu hit the go-ahead jumper late in the fourth quarter to secure the win for the Norse, ending with 22 points. Macey Blevins added 17 points while Mya Meredith produced a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double. Two freshmen added major contributions from the bench, as Kamora Morgan scored 14 points and #HLWBB Freshman of the Week pitched in 11 points.
- Bench Provides Boost in Milwaukee Victory
- The Panthers defeated the Penguins 61-56 on Saturday, thanks in large part to a scoring punch from its bench. The Milwaukee reserves scored 25 points, with nine points coming from Kamy Peppler while eight points came from her sister Kallie and Jorey Buwalda.
