INDIANAPOLIS (February 24, 2025) – Green Bay’s Maddy Schreiber and Youngstown State’s Sophia Gregory earned this week’s Under Armour #HLWBB awards.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK | MADDY SCHREIBER | GREEN BAY | SENIOR | GUARD/FORWARD | APPLETON, WIS.
- Led the Phoenix to a 59-50 win over Cleveland State and a 68-45 win over Milwaukee
- Her 18 points against the Panthers led all players
- In 43 minutes of action combined between the two contests (all off the bench), she scored 34 points, and shot 12-for-15 overall, including a perfect 8-for-8 from beyond the arc
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK | SOPHIA GREGORY | YOUNGSTOWN STATE | FRESHMAN | GUARD | ALLIANCE, OHIO
- Gregory ranked second in the League in both scoring and rebounding last week as YSU was the only team to win two road games
- Averaged 17.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while posting a pair of double-doubles in road victories at Detroit Mercy and Oakland. Gregory was also second in the League in field-goal percentage
- Went 16-for-24 from the field for 66.7% and she added three blocks to tie for fifth in the League in that category
