Milwaukee’s Aniamaka and Block Collect Spring Scholar-Athlete of the Season Honors June 23 Rachel White INDIANAPOLIS (June 23, 2025) – Milwaukee track and field student-athletes Divine Aniamaka and Natalie Block have been chosen as our Horizon League Spring Scholar-Athletes of the Season. Dig Deeper: Aniamaka earned a spot on the Valeo Outdoor #HLTF All-Academic Team this season. He is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Milwaukee. Aniamaka won the triple jump crown at the Outdoor #HLTF Championship in May and broke the program record this season with a leap of 15.42m. Block has twice been named to the Valeo Outdoor #HLTF All-Academic Team and is a three-time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team. She is a graduate student at Milwaukee, studying Biomedical Science. Block advanced to the NCAA Track & Field Championships with a 400m hurdle time of 56.95, breaking her own program record and also earned League titles in two events this spring. The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes at the conclusion of each of its three athletic seasons as the Scholar-Athlete of the Season. To be eligible for Scholar-Athlete of the Season consideration, a student-athlete must be a member of that sports current year all-academic team. Honorees are selected based on a combination of athletic and academic achievement by the League’s faculty athletics representatives.
