Ford Elevated; New Team Members Announced at the Horizon League
INDIANAPOLIS (August 26, 2025) – The Horizon League has promoted Kelley Ford to Senior Associate Commissioner while welcoming a new McLendon Fellow and graduate assistants.
Why it Matters: The Horizon League and our member schools develop nearly 4,000 student-athletes for life. Through Division I competition and unique opportunities in major metropolitan cities, their athletic, academic and personal aspirations can be achieved because what they learn today will inspire who they become tomorrow. The individuals noted below, along with their colleagues in the League office, are tasked with making a major impact in support of student-athletes, coaches and staff across the League’s footprint.

“Kelley Ford has played an enormous role in the growth of the Barbasol Horizon League Basketball Championships in Indianapolis while at the same time worked diligently with coaches and administrators to elevate basketball success through relationship building and insightful data. He serves as the lead administrator for several sports and cabinets and is quickly becoming a recognized leader in Indianapolis as his prominent roles on local organizing committees show. Additionally, we welcome Sa’Mone, Carlea and Matt and know their energy and talents will serve the membership well!”
