INDIANAPOLIS (January 21, 2026) – Milwaukee’s Gunnar Seversen, Maddi Hayashi, Will Francis and Kristina Wittmann all earned this week’s #HLSD honors.
MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK | GUNNAR SEVERSEN | MILWAUKEE | SO. | WOODBURY, MINN.
- Won the 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:26.84, setting a new Klotsche Natatorium record.
- Touched the wall first in the 1650 Freestyle (15:47.37), setting another pool record.
- Finished first in the 400 IM with his 3:59.62 effort.
WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK | MADDI HAYASHI | MILWAUKEE | SO. | DEER PARK, ILL.
- Touched the wall first in the 100 Butterfly and 200 Butterfly with times of 57.73 and 2:06.03, respectively.
- Finished third in the 200 IM with a season-best time of 2:12.13.
MEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK | WILL FRANCIS | MILWAUKEE | SO. | PLYMOUTH, MINN.
- Won the 1m Dive at the meet against MSOE, turning in a 256.65-point effort.
- Also finished first in the 3m Dive, earning 272.03 points.
WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK | KRISTINA WITTMANN | MILWAUKEE | JR. | GERMANTOWN, WIS.
- Had the top score in the 1m Dive at the MKE Time Trials with MSOE, recording 268.80 points.
- Won the 3m Dive as well, earning 265.58 points.
