INDIANAPOLIS (March 18, 2026) – #HLMBB Champion Wright State is heading to Philadelphia for the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

  • The Raiders enter the NCAA Championship with a 23-11 overall mark and enter the dance winners of 18 of their last 22 games since late December.
  • Wright State won the outright regular season title and the tournament title in the same season for the first time in program history, while the Raiders eclipsed the 20-win mark this season for the 15th time in its Division I history.

  • #HLMBB Newcomer of the Year and Barbasol #HLMBB Championship Valeo MVP TJ Burch is ranked ninth nationally in steals per game (2.52) and fifth nationally in total steals (83).
    • Burch led the Raiders with 19.0 points per game in their three games in the championship.
  • #HLMBB All-Freshman Team selection Michael Cooper paces the Raiders with 13.4 points per game this season.
    • Cooper earned All-Tournament Team honors after averaging 15.7 points per game in the championship.
  • #HLMBB Freshman of the Year Kellen Pickett averages 8.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for WSU.
    • Pickett posted 16.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game during the championship while shooting 63.0 percent from the floor.
  • Michael Imariagbe scores 11.8 points per game and adds 7.0 rebounds per game for the Raiders.
  • Wright State has won four League championships (2026, 2022, 2018, 2007).
    • The Raiders earned an NCAA Tournament win over Bryant in 2022.
