INDIANAPOLIS (March 18, 2026) – #HLWBB Champion Green Bay is heading to Minnesota for the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, while Cleveland State, Purdue Fort Wayne and Youngstown State earned a first-round bye in the WNIT.

The Phoenix enter the NCAA Tournament with a 25-8 overall record, including a dominant 15-0 start in league play before suffering their first conference loss.
Green Bay is making its 21st NCAA Tournament appearance and third consecutive trip, seeking its first tournament victory since 2012.
The Phoenix captured both the regular season and tournament titles for the second straight year, while surpassing the 20-win mark for the fourth consecutive season and the 27th time in Division I program history.
Friday’s matchup will mark the first-ever meeting between Green Bay and Minnesota this season.

- Guyer led the Phoenix with 21.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in the Championship game.
#HLWBB All-Second Team selection Maddy Skorupski leads the League in assists (4.75), while adding 4.75 rebounds per game and 11.75 points per game for the Phoenix.
- Skorupski contributed 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for Green Bay in the Championship game.
Cleveland State, Purdue Fort Wayne and Youngstown State earned a first-round by in the Postseason WNIT.

Youngstown State earned the #HLWBB automatic bid as the League’s top team that was not selected for the NCAA Tournament or WBIT.

#HLWBB Newcomer of the Year Izabella Zingaro led the Vikings in the #HLWBB Barbasol Semifinals posting a double-double with 19.0 points and 14.0 rebounds, while teammate Colbi Maples contributed 11.0 points and 7.0 assists.
- Zingaro scores 18.45 points per game on 59.4 shooting, while adding 8.05 rebounds per game this season.
Purdue Fort Wayne paces the League in scoring offense (72.15) and turnover margin (4.85).
- PFW ranked top 40 nationally in turnover margin.
