INDIANAPOLIS (May 11, 2026) – Wright State’s Gus Gregory and Youngstown State’s Braden Gebhardt have been selected for this week’s Under Armour #HLBASE awards.
BATTER OF THE WEEK | GUS GREGORY | WRIGHT STATE | JUNIOR | UTILITY | STRONGSVILLE, OHIO
- Went 2-1 on the week with a series win at Northern Kentucky
- Hit to the tune of a .600 batting average with an 1.892 OPS
- Tied for the team lead with nine hits and eight runs scored while leading the squad with nine RBIs, three homers, and 19 total bases
- Had multiple hits and one home run in each of the three games for the Raiders.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK | BRADEN GEBHARDT | YOUNGSTOWN STATE | SENIOR | HOWLAND, OHIO
- Allowed one earned run on four hits with eight strikeouts over six innings
- Earned his fourth win of the season in YSU’s 13-11 #HLBASE series-opening victory over Milwaukee
- Recorded at least one strikeout in five of the six innings he was on the mound while walking just two batters
- Posted a 1.50 ERA while retiring the side in order in two different frames
